Well, we are finally on our way home from vacation. We have had a wonderful time, but are ready to be home in our own beds. We decided to split the trip home up because traveling for up to 15 hours with a 19 month old is no fun and not very easy going.
We booked a stay at a Courtyard by Marriott through their website....no booking fees compared to Travelocity or Hotels.com. In the process, I discovered that select hotels, *July 2 thru September 13, are offering a $20 Visa gift card for a *Friday or Saturday night stay. Upon check in, they give you a slip with a unique code that you use on a specific site to claim it. You have one month after your stay to claim and it arrives in 4-6 weeks to your house. One offer per stay.
I highly recommend this chain. We have had very good success with them. Comfortable beds, corteous service, etc. There are also other deals available for other Marriott Chain hotels. Check the website for details and to search for locations.
